I can't even imagine 800 HP in a street car. I can barely (legally) use my puny 240 HP in my 328i on the street. That Nissan looks amazing and 800 HP is incredible, but I doubt you'll get to enjoy all the power without putting yourself and others at serious risk.

That said, the Nissan represents amazing bang for the buck, even if it cost $140,000 which it probably wont. With 800 HP and the right aerodynamics it should break into the 200's top speed!

I doubt many people will be cross shopping this car with an M4.

Well, I had an E90 M3 prior to getting my 2012 GT-R. Both were/are daily drivers, meaning driving on the streets of LA, to work, dropping of my kid at school, etc.
My M3 was lightly modded and probably made 420hp. My GT-R makes 700hp (so 800hp to me doesn't sound too crazy).
Do I track? A few times a year.
Do I care about lap times? No.
Do I care how my car's lap times compare to other cars? No
Would I trade my GT-R for the new M3/4? Well, I think it's a great car and I wouldn't mind having one, but honestly, once you drive a 700hp AWD car, you can't really go back to a 450hp car and be that happy. I've driven 700hp RWD cars and they are quite hairy. But with AWD you can use all that power. Anyway, both GT-R and M3/4 are great but very different. I would say 2 things. First, the GT-R (especially with some bolt on mods) is for people that don't just want a fast car, but who want to go warp speed (that's me, I felt my M3 was really slow). Second, 700-800hp, at least on the GT-R platform, is totally usable as a daily driver. Even my wife, who doesn't like driving fast and drives an SUV, occasionally drives my car to run an errand, drives it like a grandma, and proves it is a docile daily driver. If anyone in LA wants to take a ride in my car let me know. I'd be happy to put a smile on a fellow car enthusiast's face. 😃

I agree, not a lot of things can compare to the brutal acceleration of a GTR when launched from a stop. Absolutely thrilling! What work did u have done to your car? Did u take it to SPE? (Seeing that you are in La). That's where I took my car

two very different cars. To me they do not compare at all and different categories for sure. NO way the Nissan is a daily driver and 800HP is just asking for VIP status with the Police. Having said that its one awesome looking car for sure but at that price point regardless of performance its tough to pick a Nissan that will absolutely be in the 140-150k range nicely equipped versus a Turbo S or something like that.

I thought the 0-60 was already in the 2.7 0-60 range. It could be even faster. 911 Turbo killer
