Put a set of loaner 19s on my comp today

These are 5 year old tires and I rekon they're already a good 50% better over broken tarmac - it was still firm but not crashy

I can see why you guys say the cs rides better

With new ps4s I rekon the 19s would make the ride tolerable

Might need to order a set of HRE's and hang onto this thing

The OEM CS wheels are nice - why not hit the dealer up for a price ?

There's only one wheel I really like more than the 666 on this car, and HRE offer it

We are all still waiting for RevNev to showcase to us his famous 'best in the world' BMW exhaust he always speaks about.

I'm sure if it's half as good as he says, he would sell them in the bucket load.

You reckon the 666m's look better than the 763m (CS) wheels?

Yep easily, 763 look a bit too 'winter setup' in silver

At the least they need the ccb's behind them to fill the open spokes

666's don't sit right in the rear on the coupe anywhere near as well as the sedan for some reason, same with putting them on an m2, just doesn't work in rear

The 666m's are the ugliest wheels I've seen on a M model aside from the weight of them and they're a mongrel to clean, they're actually convex with the centre sticking out past the edge of the rim. The 343m M5 wheel is the best looking 20" wheel BMW has produced with decent dish (concave). 763m's are lighter, easier to clean with the handling advantage of 19" fronts and they're a genuine M3/M4 wheel option. The car may as well have the wheels missing sitting on blocks if they're black, you can't see the wheels let alone the style from a distance.

Got ccb's, cleaning is a non issue (and chief reason I option them on all my cars)

For me BMW's look best with the bbs mesh style design, it's a classic look, and that's the wheel design I've chosen from HRE

Don't like the 666M style? Bad luck, BMW putting similar wheels on EVERY competition model now. I've come to like them, just need 19's on front for Cup2 - or Goodyear need to hurry up and get the Supersport R here - they'll do a 265 30 20!

GTS and DTM fronts are 19" 666m's you can buy now if you like them.

Yeh that was something I looked at, buying 2 front gts 19" 666 and getting the orange inserts repainted ferric grey

But I still think you're better off with a complete 19" setup and getting more sidewall on front and back

I just went to MPS4S's from the stock PSS's on the 437M's, stock (none-ZCP) dampers and springs, latest iStep and 33 PSI all round. I'm actually surprised just how much better the car is - road noise and comfort improved quite a lot and traction is far far superior even when cold and wet. Best upgrade for the $$$!

I had the opportunity to buy some competition pack 20's and like you I love the look but couldn't bear the ride in Melbourne with the potholes we have now appearing and after fitting PS4S's on the 437's all round the ride and road noise is a big step up on my daily driver.

I was planning to buy a set of HRE 19s for the m3, but after driving a few diff cars i changed my mind

I'm going to switch to a big motor suv for daily driving, just gotta wait for i what I want to become available to order in 2020

I've resisted the suv for as long as I can, and so many have already been plagued with the Nurburgring marketing epidemic making them far too stiff, but ideally travel and sidewall is really what you need as our roads deteriorate

I had to borrow a 420i GC for some time whilst my car was having a part swapped and it rode great, not crashy, low NVH, obviously less body control than the M3 but comfortable. Better than my old RS3. I dunno why but I can't get on with the SUV seating position and the "lean" when on it - I'd take a car over an SUV any day so I can sit down in it not on top of it. Each to their own though!
