Gloss Black Shift Knob Trim

I always wondered why these parts weren't offered in different colors by companies and after calling BMW I learned this piece comes only in carbon or you would need the full $949 shift knob assembly to get your hands on it lol.

So I took a spare one we had and got it done in gloss black here at the shop.

What are your guys thoughts on it?

I would love to offer different colors on these pieces.

Garage List
How hard was it to put back the inner piece? Did you use a double-sided tape?

looks fantastic, I would have preferred this instead of the carbon fiber version if it were available at the time. there is enough carbon fiber going on in the interior already. The idea of having it colored though gives me a mini stroke, so some people might like it

Was not hard at all, didn't use any double sided tape. The adhesive on the glass piece was still good. Doesn't shift/move around at all ever since its been put back on

I couldn't find the bezel alone to start spraying some with M colors but I think it would be nice contrast. Would accentuate a red push to start in my opinion

You got a picture of the whole interior with the knob. Also like that alcantara trim piece that hold the controls.

Here's a pic of the interior with the knob. That's the M4CS console trim for you
