Which ignition coils?

Going on realoem and it shows Delphi part #12138616153 as the ignition coils for my 09/14 M4.

On fcpeuro, I see that there are Delphi coils with that part number as well as Bosch. There is also a OE BMW branded version with the same part # as well as OE BMW with part #12138647689. The BMW branded ones are substantially more.

Which out of the Delphi and Bosch has proven to be the best so far?

I changed my plugs Friday and the coil packs were Delphi branded. I got the car used so I can't confirm if they were previously replaced. The Carfax shows that all maintenance was done at the dealer and the plugs were changed, but no mention about the coil packs. Either way, they work as they should and if i ever replace them I will go with the Delphi. Based on the poor quality reported on the forum of the Bosch plugs vs the NGKs, and the higher cost, I would stay away from the Bosch colis.

Are coil packs worth changing as a preventative measure after a few years? Or is it just flight till failure?

Yes, here install bootmod and coil pack.. 2x1
