Metal Clanking Noise in the rear end when Sit down?

Hi Guys,

I just took delivery of the m4 3 days ago and noticed that every time I get into the car and sit down, I hear a metal clanking noise coming from the rear end... is that normal? Anyone experience the same issue? Thanks !!

Parking brake on when you get in? Sometimes it's noisy.

Thanks so much!! Yes, I got the parking brake on! When I turned it off, the sound is no longer there. That’s normal correct?

My car does the same exact thing when I get out of the car. Sometimes it does it when I open the garage and the wind rushes in. Makes a very subtle "clunk" sound in the rear.

Parking brakes are noisy in most cars.

You can almost always hear them in any car when it's engaged in an echo-y garage.
