Great review. Owned a 2010 E92 M3 (which I loved) but decided to get a 2012 X6M. I'm truly considering getting the new M4. Thanks for the video...

Really enjoyed that review refreshing change from car journalists driving temporary loaners

Another excellent and entertaining review. It kinda sucks that you cannot reprogram the defaults for the throttle/suspension/steering and have to set them to your preferences each time you start the car. That was quite surprising to me. On a lighter note, I was happy to see the gorilla (one of them at least) make a repeat appearance... love those gorillas

Might be possible through coding. Not sure how much exploration has been done on that front though. The car is pretty new.

I agree regarding the survey system with the dealers. They always say "all 10's and we pass. Anything else, we fail." Total bullshit. There is no way for the dealerships to use useful feedback to improve. A little constructive criticism is a good thing. Ridiculous. Sweet review, BTW.

Cool review...dig your relaxed manner, the cute pup and the car! Love that color. Exactly the combo i would go for.
Regarding the lack of torque in the E9x...no argument from me here...BUT before i switch (if i ever do)...I am thinking of trying the SC route to see how that livens things up. Enjoy the toy!

Excellent review nick!
So how's your experience been with DCT so far? Are you hearing any "click" sounds like in the other posts/threads? Any M Performance goodies planned for your car? I'm getting a SO M3 and you've just confirmed my decision on colour; looks absolutely amazing! Thanks!

Yeah, man. And they ALL f-in pressure you to give them all 10s, too. They make it almost seem like if you don't, they'll lose their jobs or something. Annoying as hell imo. |

Great review! I especially like the cuts to stills and small clips to illustrate your thoughts, very well done! More importantly I like your comments about the Porsche 991, now I don't feel like I'm missing out by not striving to own a base stripper 911 with less than flattering wheels, an ugly steering wheel, adding a Bose sound system and black and white crests on the wheels when I can have both kids in car seats and one set of golf clubs all riding in luxury in a very fast M3!

I'm an X6 owner but really enjoyed the review Nick. Informative, objective and just all around a good job - well done.
Would love the same on the M4 convertible when it becomes available. A car in my future perhaps. |
