What should the idle rpm be set to so that the cold start has a nice loud roar but without the screaming from oem after start up.

Im just looking for 1 big roar and that is all.

Also, should i set pre throttle tmap sensor, and manifold tmap sensor to 3.5 bar or leave it on OEM? and do I need to have aftermarket hardware for that?
I think cold start is not that high..
I think it idled at 900-1000rpm, it settles to a cold start oem, I think the higher the rpm the not as deep it is.
Test it out bud and see what works best for you.
S55 comes with the higher sensor on TMAP.
leave it all as OEM.

I didn't change the burble slider as I want to see if it alters the the OTS AGG Map burbles, it should not but will have to test that out when I go for a drive.

I’ve tried messing with this, cold start etc works wel.

However, allllll burbles completely gone now except in neutral ! No matter hto at settings I choose, all gone!

edit:-

Only way to fix this for me is to delete my OTS map, and re-download.

However any changes completely get rid of my burbles regardless of what settings I do.

I am also having this same issue. Only in neutral do I hear the burbles.

What does the Tmap sensor toggle do? I'd like to get my boost gauge (plugged into OBD) to read higher...seems it caps at 22.5

Is it possible to save a modified OTS tune by a different name? Trying to avoid having 10 tunes named "Stage 1 93 Octane" with different settings.....

I go to the "OTS Maps" tab and redownload an OTS tune every time i want to reconfigure an OTS map i already have.

For example, i have three Stage 1 93 Octane files. To get them, I clicked "Get Tune" in the "OTS Maps" window 3 times which create three instances of the tune in the My Maps folder. I can then customize the burbles and startup uniquely to each one, but the name is the same for each.

Same here, maybe still has some glitches since this is a new feature or I'm just not setting things right. I'm setting all the burble sliders to the aggressive settings for now to test and burbles are gone.

Not too sure what you guys have your settings at but mine are below, and they are working just fine.

I like my burbles to be subtle but still noticeable and they are smooth as heck, much better than the brapapapapapapapapapapap - (if anyone needs to know exactly what my burbles sound like imagine taking a 5 second toke from a bong and the sound that the water makes when toking in but quite a bit louder )

Exhaust burble type - custom
duration - 5 seconds
duration sport - 5 seconds
agression - 1 second
min speed - 5km
max speed - 100km
min rpm - 1250
max rpm - 4500

Cold start - Off
Idle RPM - 1000

Pre-throttle Tmap Sensor - oem
Manifold Tmap Sensor - oem

Exhaust Flap - Open
Speed limiter - oem
Catalyic Monitor - Off

Everything I have set above is working 100% and I love them sososososoo much

hope this helps someone

**Also what ive noticed everytime I update my map it says in yellow *HAS UPDATE* then when clicking it says this map is in progress and will be ready momentarily, than when its finished in green it will say *DOWNLOADED* **

Also one more thing for the reason why your burbles might be gone from what I noticed the part where it says (duration sport) make sure after you set everything go back in and check duration sport again to make sure that the setting you put I.E my setting Duration Sport - 5 Seconds got applied.

From what I noticed after you set everything and press save when you go back in to make changes duration sport goes back to the minimum number, so keep going into the settings portion and keep setting and saving to your preferred time until you go in and it actually saved.

I think the problem above might be why none of you guys have burbles.

So is there instructions for this?

Do we have to flash our desired tune again after saving the settings?

Custom you just tell them what you want the settings to be. I'm sure it'll work for custom maps sooner or later, the question is if it would mess with any of the inter tables on a customer build map - I doubt it but assume its possible

I just tried the same settings on a CS tune but adjusted agression to middle after starting off the way you had it.

Unfortunately I don't see or hear a difference though it's noticeably more louder in neutral as others have mentioned. I changed RPM to 5500 but burbles stop as earlier, around 4000 RPM.

Get the feeling this will work better on the OTS stage 1 or 2 maps than CS or GTS maps.

EDIT: Just noticed you mentioned about the HAS UPDATE part. I have yet to see it turn green and might explain the issue.

really nice

but how is it possible to change the GTS Roar-Startup?
what is the exhaust flap (Sport)?

Does anybody know the exact values for burble/cold start rpm/etc. for stage 1 and 2?
This would be really helpful so everybody could change it at pleasure.

I’ve been speaking with Dzenno about this and I think there is potential for the custom implementation of the sliders to be really cool. One thing we can accomplish with burbles in a custom tune is I can make them react differently for different rpm’s and speed by mode. So for example, personally I like nice aggressive cracks when I downshift and rev above 4K but I like those to cut off after only 1 second. But then I like mild gurgles from 3k and below and for those the duration can be 2 sec. Then I also some gurgles right off idle at 1000-1500 rpm but to get that to work I have to get pretty aggressive with the negative burble timing in that range, and also set some of the rpm/gear cutoff tables to allow it. Anyway, my point is the burbles can get complicated if you really want to get specific about their behavior. I think it would be awesome if as a custom tuner I am able to “customize” the settings that the aggression slider applies. This way, the customer can have the overall burble behavior or “flavor” they prefer, but have the control to increase or decrease the intensity of them.
