Hahaha I love the way the only tradition that BMW are rigidly sticking to is that LCI is when you get all LED.

I'm sure the car in the video has a new engine that BMW has been keeping secret and that the S55 we have seen have just been a smoke screen

The F8x will have a 3,7l V6 according to my sources that are good friends with someone who owns a pub in Munich that has a photo of a M engineer taking a beer in a pub...

I don't know what to make of the video/sound clip, but it doesn't sound very good. I am hoping this is just an issue of recording equipment/etc.

You got's to chill (EPMD)....Sounds identical to a 458 during cold start, so I'm sure the engine and exhaust note will change once all warmed up.

looks like someone's shitty smart phone camera / speaker picking up the sound. everyone just needs to chill and wait till you hear it in person. i'm sure I-6 won't disappoint too many. if it sounds that bad, it might be still ok for all F8x owners, only e9x owners will hear the exhaust note from falling behind =)
