So I was perhaps a bit too paranoid before heading up to my first 2-day event at the Glen and got a new set, though these have a decent amount of life left in them. There are about 26 heat cycles on them. Note this tire is designed to also be shaved down to a semi-slick (where only the center grooves remain), so this set obviously not quite there yet.

While not the fastest tire overall, NT01 is known for its consistency. If you want to feel out out how these can perform as they wear, here's an opportunity.

Local pickup preferred, or I'll drive up to ~30 min to drop off/meet up.

26 heat cycles?! Those are pretty much a wrap for track usage. I am tossing those at 15 heat cycles as they start to get greasy and lap times steadily climb.
That is however a good deal for a set of tires to be run on the street.

Thanks for the comment.... though for track use I think some would respectfully disagree, that NT01 can remain very usable beyond 15 heat cycles, particularly for people at an intermediate level (i.e., not at the absolute limit and chasing tenths.)

Garage List
NT01s are good to the cords. 99% of users will state they do not heat cycle out and will put down faster lap toward the end of there life. However, with no tread left on the outside shoulders... it is a guess as to how much longer before those cords show.

That makes sense. I know from experience the AR1 or the hoosiers are incredible in their first session, but steadily fall off after you get that one real hot lap.
