At the very least yes, the S has a different V6 now than the GTS and Turbo though.

GTS and Turbo has a hot V6 that reduces the turbo lag. S has a 3.0L V6 that would definitely give you some turbo lag if you do not drive it in Sport/Sport + mode (if you have the option).

I would definitely also aim for a Macan S w/ Air Suspension. It is better than the stiffer steel ones. Trust me on that :P

GrussGott The air quality here isn't great either. Think the Asuza fire has been reduced a lot but the Angeles Crest/Forest one has grown in considerable size. Woke up today with ashes all over the floor so that was fun.

Glad we didn't go down the 4th car route, jeebus.

I test drove a 19 S recently and was surprised how well I fit being 6’7”. My top choice would be a Panamera GTS but Im not ready to shell out that kind of money for a daily.

As far as P Car ownership I did have a 911 Carrera S in the past.

Oh neat

Yeah if it is the 14th way adjustable it would definitely do well. Probably slightly different when it comes to the GTS 18-Way ones which I wasn't a fan of.

I'm not big on the Panny either. I do not like how long the car is.

From what I know, dealerships are more willing to make a deal when it comes to the base Macan and the Macan S because they are the volume sellers. It is much harder with the GTS. Slightly easier with Turbo since, no one guns for those usually.

That is a very good optioned S. Though a bit more $ you can get the GTS lol.

Get a limited Palisade for DD with family. You’ll thank me later.

No idea honestly. I test drove a Telluride SX last year and loved it but they wanted over MSRP then and Im pretty sure that is still the current situation. Dave dont pay MSRP.

Surprised you didnt get the “calligraphy” one above the limited.

We’ve test driven them and our friends have one. We would have one, but we need a full size truck to tow our boat and haul some other stuff in the bed. It would be nice to have a 3 row SUV. Especially one like that, those are a lot of value/lux for under 50k.

Yeah we already have 1 3 row so it may be overkill for me. I'm trying to find the best 2 row w/ some performance for a large man... lol

We got a loaner Subaru Ascent last year, and we're very impressed with it. It has the WRX engine in it.

Palisade and Talluride are the same cars. Kia and Hyundai basically build these two together.

I personally like the Subaru Crosstrek but only because it is a smaller car. I'm not overly fond of their larger offerings. That being said though, I wouldn't mind the larger offerings because of one reason, I don't like the way they look, so I wouldn't be as overly attached to those cars.

When it comes to having an economy car, the less appealing visually to me the better. That's why I drive my father's Prius Prime as much as I do, I don't care for it other than the interior.

Autumn is here which means rain. A few days ago I spent the day cleaning up my storage and searched the kids autumn coats which as everyone knows are like invisibility cloaks. They just disappear.

Found three, the tiny devil was the only one who had lost both of his so off to the shops I went. Thankfully I could just run to the closest supermarket to get one, so I abandoned my cleaning and clearing project.

After fetching 4 gallons of milk and the bloody coat, I went to the cashiers line. A few other familiar faces were around, and I spent the time in queue avoiding the stuck up parents association bitch who was complaining about my lack of participation in their efforts of terrorising the teachers.

A security guard I know was walking near and to avoid the judgemental bitch still talking to me, I waved at him to get his attention. And that's when it happened.

I still haven't mastered the art of dressing up like an adult and I keep stuffing everything in my bra still. Unfortunately the bra snapped open that moment and screws, bolts, a phone and a mascara and so on crashed down on the floor. The whole line turned to watch the show which kinda reminded me of a sparkling rain. The security guard bent down to help me collect my stuffings rose up again and asked with a straight face:

"So, Anna, is this a situation where a gentleman tries to help collecting the bits or am I to pretend I didn't just see that?"

At that point I, the cashier and the whole line of people lost it. I've never seen a queue in such a fit.

I collected my stuff from the floor and stuffed them in my pant pockets which made them almost drop down. That got us all laughing even more.

After I paid for the milk and coat, the cashier told me she in my shoes would never leave her house after an incident like that. I told her that life is too short to be embarrassed over something so hilarious. Life goes on.

School here starts on fridays with a story. This week it was the turn of the pta bitch to deliver it. According to my younger girl that was the story she shared, her evening shopping show and a personal story of hers about how everything seemed huge and embarrasing as a teenager where as an adult perspective has given her the ability to share things and laugh at things. She ended the thing with a direct quote, "life goes on".

Another thing added to the stories my kids will share at my funeral. I bet they can't wait for that day to come.
An edit to this story. The woman I kept calling a bitch, still is one. I still don't like her, but I did call her after hearing about this story making the morning broadcast for the student population of 1.3k and thanked her for sharing her views on it. We disagreed on me taking a more active role on the organization or donating a cent to them in general but I promised to double their efforts from bake sales and such for the entire school (2.5k last year, they made more with other shit) this year. That money will be given to the class funds directly, not through them.

My bra fuck up was just hilarious. She telling about how hard life as a teenager felt and how now as an adult she can laugh with me for that and help me collect shit while doing it is exactly what the kids needed to hear..

SO.. Funny story... Went to go look at a Palisade last night... fell in love with another car.. was able to negotiate 20% off AND 0% APR for 5 years... so it's on the way from SC. Had to be dealer transfered.

2020 Genesis G70 AWD 3.3T Sport in Mallorca Blue.

I have to say.. it is a lot like the M340i.. just better feel and almost 30k cheaper with the discount....

I been hearing a lot of things about Genesis recently. Considering my special someone is Korean herself, I should actually give the brand a shot when LAAS is around again.

Im telling you it is better than an M340i. Interestingly the G70/Stinger were designed by old BMW people while the new BMW people designed the new G80. So... Genesis is the new BMW? 😂

I actually know about it when it was happening.

Kia grabbed a lot of former BMW people, mainly from the E9x days.

Hey so did y'all know know that many 2021+ BMW 40i models (i.e. 6 cylinders) will all be "mild" hybrid, i.e., all will have an inline 11HP electric motor and 48v battery?? And that gets rid of auto start-stop making it always on with no off button UNLESS you press the sport button ...

This seems like a sneaky way to go electric - I don't remember any big announcements, but looks like they're doing it with just about every line ...

I found out researching the X5 45e which I think will be our next car! I can't believe i'm going to get a PHEV, but I am.

And I think it just might be BMW's best car this year - certainly with the federal tax credit and other incentives, it's the best value: 400hp, 50MPGe, fully optioned at ~60k from the right dealer.

I did know because the 2021 M340i I originally ordered had it.

I wonder if itll trickle into the G series M cars.....
