I disagree, the M driving school was absolutely worth it and you can sign up for it anytime. It was what convinced me to buy my M3, I drove it at M school in on absurdly rainy day and was extremely impressed with the performance of the car in such trying conditions. I am thinking of doing the 2 day M school in the future but will decide after getting out for a few track days this spring and summer. Get out and enjoy your new car.

The car can do this, just be careful. Smooth!

I also have the 3-pedal but with the extra two doors. I suggest to avoid Sport+ while learning, because there's no rev-match, so if you mis-shift you won't hear the engine rev high to warn you of an over-rev.
Once you're comfortable with plain jane Efficient get into Sport with MDM, then progress to Sport with DSC Off (no nanny mode, be careful). With DSC Off you can learn the limits of traction and corner sliding technique. I've pushed to 175 on a few occasions (limiter deleted), and exceed 150 frequently "just to test that Dragy is working"...but safely, of course.

I believe rev match is there now in all modes. Changed sometime in 2018.

The OP was commenting that the "M Driver's package" is not worth it. And he is correct. You can get a much better deal on the M schools.

Not that I'm aware of yet. I just picked mine up a couple of weeks ago, it's still on Winter tires.
