F30 to F80 - radar mount & shift knob questions

I'm currently in a 335/F30 and waiting for my new M3 to build in a few months. For anyone in a similar situation or who has experience with both the F30 and F80 or an ability to check into this, if you wouldn't mind taking a look at these questions to satisfy my OCD waiting game, I'd appreciate it:

- Is the rear view mirror console/neck the same dimension in both cars? Wondering if my current radar mount will fit the M3

- I bought a new manual shift knob for my 335 because the stock was not to my liking. The knob I bought has the red+blue tri-color stitching on the boot, and is the same knob or at least very similar to what I've seen in M3 pics. I know the M3 knob lights up, while my current knob does not, but I'm wondering if the base trapezoid dimensions of the boot are the same in both F30 and M3, and if the knob connection points are the same across cars even though one illuminates and one doesn't.

Thanks for any help folks...

I'm super OCD too. I just ordered a sick knob, E-brake lever and flat bottom steering wheel for my M4 from Nexon motors. They make some sick stuff. I'm sure they can answer that for you. Ask for Izzy
