my dream garage has a mint 993 in it (ideally Turbo, but I would be almost as happy with a C2S). problem is they're so expensive, and you wouldn't want to drive it much - I'd feel too guilty putting a lot of miles on it. Maybe 2,000 a year though.

they're still the best looking 911's so far.

Agreed! Low mileage 993 turbo s's are going for insane money.. one day.

haha, I have a baby and AY does kind of look like it...(the poop, not the baby)

Blows my mind how many 2015 owners are in here bashing the minimal upgrade and validating their purchase of the 2015. But then it is m3post after all. No surprises at the maturity level here.

Looking at the suggested changes, the new tail will look really good when lit up. However, if the chrome accent is the actual chrome, not the dark one, Ill probably roll back to the 2015 accents

On the colors, if those two horrendous colors are the only new ones offered it makes my decision for AW super easy

They are doing it because they were getting tired of being bashed as "early adopters" and continually told how much smarter the people waiting for the 2016 LCI were ..... Goes both ways.

We all knew this day was coming. Now let's argue about ZCP, then G series. No real surprises in this LCI. The Taillights are a nice touch and I'll probably retrofit. I'm not a fan of shiny stuff on the dash, so I'll pass. I spent a ton of money already replacing the silver crap with the M performance pieces. I'm still upset about the 2015 cup holders and I don't see this as an easy swap.

That is exactly where I stand. I'm not leasing so... Definitely wouldn't lease the same car twice. Plan to keep it until the GX M and then buy that LCI. Lol

new lights look pretty good..not good enough to wait a whole year though..I guess I'll just envy the 2016 Ms with their flashy new tail lights when they pull in front of me!..

No. The modern ///M engines come from tried-and-true origins. Reliable, and been through many development cycles. They bump the power with a tune.

who the hell bashes the 2015 owners as "early adopters?" I've spent more time on this forum than I'm proud to admit, and I've never seen anyone bash a 2015 owner for buying the car.

care to show any posts with someone condemning anyone as an "early adopter"? I'm just trying to understand what you're referring to. on the other hand, there are countless people condemning anyone who is waiting for a 2016 as a fool.

I'll back up what Sakhir is saying here. There have been plenty of people stating that they wouldn't buy this car without a comp package, LED tail lights and first year reliability issues. At best we 2015ers made a mistake or are flat out idiots for buying the first model year etc. Those are the big 3, but there is more.

Apparently, I spend far too much time here if you missed these never ending discussions.

Oh yeah, you guys enjoy waiting for those unbelievably cool must have tail lights. I'll be driving this summer and have a BMWCCA car control clinic this Sunday.

I am not going to look for them and I very specifically said that it has gone both ways. Some members have already agreed with my post.

Sorry, didn't mean to upset you. I voiced my opinion in response to the "bashing" comment. You don't have to agree and that is fine.

I agree that they're well constructed, I just prefer to slide a cover back than i do take it out and lean into the passenger side of the car to slip it into a net in the glovebox.

I don't put mine in the glovebox. I put it in the center console which is easy to reach. Actually, I use the cup holders so infrequently that the cover is on most of the time and I lay my key there, so I like the cover.
