I did not specify black & white, but ordered them through Redline Speed Worx in Bridgewater, NJ (an HRE dealer) and that's they way they came. Wasn't even discussed. heh. They must have figured that they match the car best. I agree and would not want any other color.

I keep staring at the P101s and S101s and am tempted, but keep coming back to being happy with my $2500 FF01s which look great!

Good to know, I would prefer black and white anyway. Those are some of my favorites too, I also think the RS102's are gorgeous.

I can give you an example of a 19x9.5 P101 wheel that we have weighed which came in at 22.5lbs. The wheel weight will be approximate depending on the offset/backspacing for the applicaiton that we're building for, but this particular wheel was weighed in at 22.5lbs (pretty low offset too so lots of backpad which adds weight). I have weighed some 20x9.5 wheels that have a high offset at 20.5lbs, just to give you a more broad idea on weight.

What do you guys see people ordering for the M3/M4 now these days? R101s in 19 or P101s in 20? What is the biggest differences between these wheels?

Cheers

With the M3/M4 there honestly is more of a mixture of what we see ordered than a lot of other cars. R101's and P101's will always be very very high on the list, but I see the Classic series often as well.

The R101, when comparing it to the P101, is a 'race' or motorsport variation of the P101. We've removed more weight, and added strength where we need to, as well as we've placed knurling (see photo below) to keep the bead seat of the tire stuck on the wheel so that the tire doesn't rotate on the wheel under extreme situations. Other than that, they're offered in smaller diameters that the P101 isn't available in (ie, 17", and 18").

Aha, that would explain it. Although, I've seen pics of red (see links below). But perhaps they are one-offs and no longer offered? Or ordered separately/subbed in?

Those are some seriously beefy looking tires. What size tires are you running? Looks awesome.

Awesome. 30 profile is the way to go with these 20" wheels IMO. Well played!
