M4 HCP tuned goes 6.0 100-200kph bootmod3 + JB4

So my HCP tuned M4 has put down 6.6sec 100-200kph, it's currently running a custom flash tune with JB4 stacked, catless downpipes and K&N panel filters, fuel used is Tesco 99ron, further testing will proceed with stickier tyres soon

Much more impressive than a dyno graph. Keep it up and have fun!

Cool. Do a 60-130 MPH (95-210 KPH) as it's more of a standardized measure...preferably on a level road.

vbox uses an average. That uphill section at the end makes it look much more favorable. for comparison my old car ran a 10.9 60-130 on a 2.9x slope, on a flat run I was in the 12's.

The VBOX site will take the slope from the actual speed delta which is 100-200 kph. Which is 486.6 ft start and 476.9 ft end. If it took into account the uphill part after 200 it would mention 479.x ft end.

I think on a flat road it would be a 6.9 or 7.0. If M4HCP can post the vbox file I can run it through a tool that corrects it as if it were a flat road. The tool is called dbscanner and shows corrected times to make it fair.

Anyways its a great fast time!

No, that's not a huge slope at all, -3% has been the acceptable limit, and slope is not always the biggest factor, conditions, and traction play a huge role. I have reviewed hundreds of Vbox runs, before vboxtools was around and plenty of the best times are not on huge slopes. Divexxtreme from 6speedonline.com, who really invented the 60-130 Vbox measurement years ago, has reviewed thousands and he will concur slope is not always the biggest factor either. That slope is very reasonable, it's virtually impossible to find a location with a perfectly flat road anyway.

OP, solid time, but I'd post up a 60-130MPH graph / time, that is the general speed of measurement here. Also please feel free to add it to this sticky, eventually we will have one in the F8X M3/M4 forum section as well.

I am sure it will run those times! Was merely pointing the other guy the uphill part has no impact on the time.

Data logs are available from my tuner HCP (Halim) please contact him for details, I am just waiting for the heatwave to pass here in the UK then will proceed testing with 305 wide Pirelli corsas, the 6.6sec run was with huge amounts of wheelspin on the oem MPSS 275's, With better traction I can hopefully reduce times

I don't fancy carrying a spirit level around to measure each and every road, most private roads in the uk have a small amount of slope 😜
