Tramlining?
Not sure if this is the right sub-forum, but I am a new first time M3 owner. I think in a somewhat urban area with not the best roads, and I find that the M3 tramlines a lot. Do you guys experience this?
Is it the tires? Suspension? Chasis? Alignment? Thanks! |

had to google this..
YES; they just grooved an on ramp and I can only take it super slow cause the car feels like its going to slide off the road, super irratating. and it was just paved. i feel like its a cheap way to re-do a road instead of paving it correctly. wiki says low porfiles wide tires are more prone to this? Why? |

Wide tyres usually is the culprit. Get the alignment checked regularly as that won't help if it's badly off but every car I've had with a big contact patch tramlines.
