Tramlining?

Not sure if this is the right sub-forum, but I am a new first time M3 owner. I think in a somewhat urban area with not the best roads, and I find that the M3 tramlines a lot. Do you guys experience this?

Is it the tires? Suspension? Chasis? Alignment?

Thanks!

had to google this..

YES; they just grooved an on ramp and I can only take it super slow cause the car feels like its going to slide off the road, super irratating. and it was just paved. i feel like its a cheap way to re-do a road instead of paving it correctly.

wiki says low porfiles wide tires are more prone to this? Why?

Wide tyres usually is the culprit. Get the alignment checked regularly as that won't help if it's badly off but every car I've had with a big contact patch tramlines.
