Anyone who debadges what is not an M3, and rebadges it an M3 is a fool IMO. You'll be driving around in something that does not exist, and your peers who frown upon badging a 316 an M, will frown upon your foolish rebadging also.

The render isn't based off the greatest pic. The reflection hides the shoulder line and makes it look rounder than it is. I think the render in this thread is a much better representation:
