PM me. I have been getting a number of inquiries to purchase the car as-is, but nobody has been approved for the loan yet.

If the car is sold bone-stock, you are free to purchase the Remus. I am located in the East Bay as well.

Thank you for pointing this out, however I would like to comment the following:

I believe this car is priced fairly, given the location of the car (SF Bay Area), miles, packages, as well as being under CPO warranty until 2021/unlimited miles.

Seeing that you are located in Chicago and are perhaps looking at cars outside of the SF Bay Area, it would make sense why you are seeing cars for that price, if it really did carry the same options/warranty as my car. There have recently been sales of '16-17 ZCP M3's in my local area with similar packages/mileage for around my asking, and they do not carry warranty. I have also seen non-comp + non-CPO '16-17's with similar mileage around my area sell for about 3-4k less than my asking, which makes perfectly sense considering the competition package is a $4,750 option.

CPO warranty remains intact only for sales between two private parties, so it's really the selling point. The car was purchased as CPO from BMW of Century West in North Hollywood. The CPO process alone will run the dealership a few thousand, and is actually a good deal for someone looking to keep their car long-term and drive it a ton. Having looked into the CPO warranty itself and what it covers, the next owner of this car will get a great deal.

Why? Well, standard BMW warranty is actually 4 years/50,000 miles, and this is from the initial in-service date. If we are talking about MY2016 cars, this period is already coming up within the next couple months/half year for most MY16 owners, as its 4 years/50,000 miles (whichever comes first of the two). After the initial warranty is over, MY2016 owners are left in the dark with no coverage, UNLESS they have CPO warranty which will go until 2021/unlimited miles. The peace of mind alone is worth it, which is why I myself decided to pursue a CPO car instead of the other zillion non-CPO'd cars you see here on the forums. There's a reason why you don't see many CPO cars for sale here on the forums, because nobody wants to get rid of it due to the value the warranty provides to the owner.

A quick search on the official BMW official CPO inventory (key word CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED, not just pre-owned) on the West Coast will return results of MY16 F80 M3's with the same packages as mine, with nearly the same mileage, with asking prices of $3000-$5000 more than my CURRENT asking. Keep in mind, I am also open to reasonable offers, so my listed price is not my final price, it's a starting point.

Another note, many of the cars you are seeing for aforementioned prices are either located outside of CA, do not have sought-after packages, or are not under CPO warranty. Many first time or non-M owners may not understand that the comp/ZCP package is actually very sought after due to the revised ECU mapping/tune, seats/wheels, and the burbles. Before I purchased this car, I can safely say that potential M3 owners fail to see the allure of the competition package until they get a chance to drive one, and compare it to a non-comp model. The power delivery and handling the car alone is enough to justify it for me, which is why I searched long and hard to find Black/Black, CF roof, with the ZCP pack. Kind of hard to find here on the West Coast. I see non-comp F8x's for sale for days.

While I understand that this car in particular may not be for everyone, I believe it is priced very fairly and I will adjust the price accordingly depending on how much market interest I see. So far, I have had a few serious inquiries to check out and come test drive the car. No sale is final though until someone is approved for their loan.

Thanks and GLWS!!
I will follow up with you if the car is sold as-is with my Advans or TE's, and then you can have the 666m's if you wish.

Thank you for the kind words! I would like to keep the car reasonably priced, surely the next owner of this car will get the most bang-for-their-buck given the original warranty is still intact, on top of the CPO warranty until 2021/unlimited miles!
