M2C competition brakes on F80m3/F82m4
HI Guys,
Has anyone replaced the stock brakes with the M2C calipers and larger rotors on a F80 M3/M4? Is it a direct bolt on to the stock steering knuckle? Do you need the different brake booster as well? (the one used with cars with the CCB option)? Thanks, Steve |

Interesting, I thought the different CCB brake booster was necessary because of the larger calipers and not because of the friction differences between iron and carbon ceramics.

Just installed in my M4 F82.
I have installed new CCB brake calipers (yellow), M2C brake discs, Endless ME22 brake pads, metal hoses and racing brake fluid. I have also coded the calibration of the M2C brake booster with 2NH. Great improvement. |

I run a Brembo GT kit and assume the pedal feel is similar to this kit. It’s more linear and predictable. The more you put down the more it will bite, and so forth |

for the gold calipers which anti rattle spring and guide bolts do you use?
is it these part numbers: 34116862801 (rattle clip/spring) 34116850934 (guide pin) This is of course using pads for iron rotors |

Interesting. Got any more pics of this setup? Any other modifications you had to make? I currently have carbon ceramics but have thought about doing something like this because Im frustrated with lack of wheel options. Not a fan of 20's.

very true ~ you really need to crank up that piston force on CCB kit.
