M4 vs M2 suspension
Can anybody tell me if they are exactly the same parts, or if not, what’s different between them i,e is it the shock length different or something else different . Wondering if I can fit a Bilsten Clubsport kit from an M4 to an M2?

Specifically, the top mounts and knuckles. Looking at spring or damper PNs won't help because they're different due to the different spring rates and damper tuning. If they're the same, then the coilovers for the F80/82 will fit the F87.
That said, I wouldn't expect the spring rates for an F80/82 coilover to carry over well to the F87. The F87 comes with significantly higher ride frequencies than the F80/82 stock. If you're going to replacing the springs with your own though, then could be worth it.

Depends on if your F80/82 is ZCP or not for the spring rates. Dampers should be the same length.

For the rear. It's a progressive spring like the F80/82 ZCP spring and has a higher minimum spring rate, and slightly lower main spring rate.

Yr F82 Billy CS kit will physically fit F87 no problem provided the top mounts are the 5 bolt M8 variety [as opposed to 3 bolt m10 version]. Spring rates can be changed/tweaked to suit yr tastes so to damping responses.
