Navigation map updates

Nope. Problem 1 was I didn't have a Windows box and my Mac kept putting in the special hidden spotlight files. Then I realized it wouldn't work in the first place given the different map platform :/

Got it updated this morning. Got the map elsewhere although it's a slightly older 2020-1 version (eBay is selling evo maps at $60 from what I could see. The $20 maps were NEXT maps) and took about 30 minutes to update from a USB3 capable thumb drive. Roughly 32GB so about a minute a GB to copy. I was able to use my Mac's USB-C to USB-A adaptor on my Google Pixelbook and used that to delete the Mac hidden files.

There are no public copies of 2020-2 available yet, it was released about a week ago

I'm ok with the slightly older one. Downloading a hundred individual files from Mega or whatever site takes forever and a PITA.

I have usb in car and I just won’t recognise the activation code.

I hope I missed a simple step
Also I lost my car play same time
