Since the IOS 15 update all ethernet to lightning adapters have stopped working as apple no longer allows them to get an IP address. This also seems to be the same with apple certified kit. Currenlty the only way to use bimmercode / link is via a decent bluetooth or wireless adapter. I would purchase only one's that are recommended.

Hi,
It works on iOS 15 with an Apple MFi certified Ethernet adapter.

This thread is a bit old, but I wanted to let folks know the instructions worked for me. I have the Carlinkit kit for my F30a and an iPhone with ios 15.3.1.
I used this network adapter, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1. The only difference is I wasn't asked to renew my license and the ethernet connection popped up the first time. I just waited for it to assign an IP address. I used the ENET cable from my tune (Kerma). Hopefully this is helpful to those of you who can't use Bimmercode with their MMI box. You actually can!
