Rain

Been raining like 3x a week on average..

Just curious. Do you all still wash the car when the weather dries out in between rain?

If there’s a window of no rain then absolutely. It’s so much easier and quicker to clean a car that’s not overly dirty. However, once it’s been cleaned, I tend to not want to get it dirty again so I drive a different car

Nope. I just leave it alone until rain is no longer in the forecast for a week. The water on the ground gets kicked up by other cars or your own car and just defeats the purpose.

I don't, I don't have the time nor the emotional capacity to deal with rain after washing my car. So to answer your questions, do what you want, your wallet, your time, and your car.

I have leveraged the rain to give my car a rinse quite a few times.

In my experience the dirt layer is still there even with a pressure wash. But I suppose if it puts your mind at ease. I notice I really need to use a wash and pressure wash to really get it all off.

No. Lol. My other car is a 992 Turbo S which is much more expensive and not as practical as my F82. But I do have PPF on the entire car so I’m not as worried.
