I would say totaled as well. Looks like an expensive fix.

Looking only at the airbags that deployed it's going to be pricey. Best case they total it. Hopefully you make out considering the market.

Whoa.
Firstly, I hope your OK and injury free. Not to mention mental toll and anxiety of your car being in an accident. I appears you are fine and the airbags/etc. did thier job. Secondly, I would hope its totalled. I would never be able to wrap my head around fixing that much damage to the front end. It has to have frame damage. Super sorry to see this, and good luck getting everything resolved. josh |

If totaled, make sure you check the comps that the insurance uses to value the car. I'm guessing it's the other party's insurance who will pay out, so they're def not on your side.
I would also get my own comps of the most comparable cars in the market to have some push back if they low-ball you. Your best bet here is to make out well enough to be able to replace it if you wish to do so, without shelling out too much.

it was paid off, he did a left turn without yielding and there was a suv next to me so I didn't even see him till he was in front of me here is a shitty drawing i did. i'm thinking if they total it his ins gonna want to bone me on the value of my car and not consider the the situation that the used car market is in.

Why do you think that? lenders/banks & insurance companies just work off current values and as we all know current values are very high. so unless you got " super boned " when you bought it you will be just fine. Unless there is more to the story on the accident? like say....were you maybe speeding? insurance companies do tend to look for reasons to pay out as little as possible. anyway...good luck hope it works out for ya. |

Wouldn't even need pics to vote totaled.
Just pull up local/regional comps for year/mileage if they try to lowball you. Maybe your neck hurts.
