Lease assumption scam. Help!

I took over a lease for a M4 CS on swaplease. The pictures looked great and everything seemed fine. I received the car today, and I was shocked to find out the following issues.

did not have m performance exhaust as advertised.
Front two tires were Pirelli P zero
M4 CS taillight and headlights were gone - it was regular taillights
the side doors are not M4 CS side doors.

I know I should have checked out the car, but everything based on the pictures seemed perfect. I feel dumb right now and wish I can speak to BMW FS to cancel the lease assumption since this is fraud. I need to wait until tomorrow morning, but can anyone help with this? I need to get out of this. Thank you.

Are you sure it’s even a CS at this point? But yea caveat emptor applies to everything even lease assumptions

In all seriousness, sorry that happened to you. Where did the car come from? Was it the originating dealer that took care of the lease assumption? Are you sure it's even a CS?

Not only did someone pull a fast one but you're likely on the hook for replacing the exhaust, taillights, doors, etc. when you return the car at the end of the lease term.

I would get in touch with the dealer ASAP. While you're waiting for a reply, send emails now so it's timestamped and document EVERYTHING. Did the shipping company take before/after photos during pickup? I'd be shocked if they didnt'...to protect themselves from any claims. May want to ask for the "before" photos to show the car was not as described before it was even shipped...Also rules out foul play by the shippers which although unlikely wouldn't be shocking. Take a close look at the lease assumption paperwork...do you have a time window to back out or any recourse? Time is not your ally on things like this...you may want to consider having an attorney draft a letter and look at breaking the lease assumption vs. waiting for the dealer to handle.

Yes, the paper work stated that it was a CS. I done two lease transfers in the past that went perfectly. I had know reason to suspect that this would be fraud. I'm really hoping BMW FS can help with this.

WOW!! that's crazy and unfortunate..... I have no experience with leases/assumptions so cant help you there. Post some pics of the AD and what you actually got? People might be able to help you out from that.

Dude I saw this car on there for a while and I automatically knew something was off. I was thinking the seller swapped everything and pocketed all the cash with intentions of swapleasing thinking he would be off the hook and the next leasee will be responsible for replacing the parts. It's straight up fraud and was definitely intentional. Sorry it happened to you and keep us updated tomorrow. F***ng scammers man. Yes, you're correct it's edited cause I remember seeing it.
