Homelink retrofit
Hello, im driving a 2015 M4 F82 EUR version and doesn't include the homelink buttons on the rear view mirror.
Anyone know which rear view mirror model do I need in order to retrofit this. Been watching on eBay and seems to be several models. If I get the new rear view mirror with homelink, it's possible to be connected with the existing cables of the mirror I currently have? I have LED lighting. Thanks in advance

This has come up before. Not sure how successful it turned out. But if you haven't already, search around. Unfortunately you won't find a whole lot of people here that are super-knowledgeable on the topic as many of our cars came with homelink as standard equipment

The Homelink mirrors are plug and play. All they need is a power connection which the mirror connector has.

I tried this in my Porsche - Homelink is a 'US' thing and a lot of not US gate and garage door openers don't work on the same frequencies.
I'd be keen to see if you could get it working. How does it handle rolling code remotes? |

Usually for rolling remote codes, you record a single code in the homelink with your regular rolling remote, then press a button on the garage door opener to make it "remember" the next code it receives and press the button on homelink to send that recorded code.
All the homelink type of remotes negate the advantage of rolling remote codes.

+1 put a US Nissan oe homelink mirror in my gtr for the auto dimming feature and the homelink frequency range aren't what we use here in Aus so it wouldn't pair

Use the F30N for Homelink mirror P/N: https://www.etkbmw.com/bmw/EN/search...0i/USA/51_3010
It is the same mirror in the F8x. Quote:

These are US only, the frequencies are wrong for Uk/Euro cars. I think 51162471107 MIGHT do it, I am looking to try this on my M3 CS
