I've had it wrapped now, but not the paint protection film. Just a few more bits to sort out and will post up a full frontal. Hold up with the paint shop.
But in order to get it wrapped had to do this to it:

Are you sold on the 10mm? I have 12mm all round and for me the look is perfect, having said that your tyres are wider so maybe that pushes the wheels out more on the CP.

You talking about a CP? I've measured the edge of the tyre against the arch and anything over 7mm means the tyre potrudes outside of the bodywork.

Yes, that's why I said your tyres are wider so maybe sit further out compared to my standard car.

Sorry, misunderstood that last bit. Yes, keen on the 10mm option for me.

Guy has 10mil up front and 12mil on the rear and I sits perfect to the rim and looks spot on. any wider at the front I think you may get stone chips on your front doors/wing...

Just posted up a query on http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...000804&page=29 See what they say... I was up at Tesco Great Notley again last night, 11.30. Thank Christ they're 24 hours, was running on fumes, range was showing as - - -, not even 0. I know, I'm a bad boy running it so low.

I wouldn't worry too much about running on fumes in such a new car. doubt there will be too much shite in the bottom of your tank. and besides, even when it says -- or 0, you still have about a gallon left in there somewhere..

Busy day today. Grey had the RIS (Running In Service) done this morning. She was a little under 1,200 miles last night so I left a little earlier to get some more miles on the clock before dropping her off. How’s this for accuracy:
The M4 style spoiler also went on this afternoon, the last of the cosmetic updates I have planned. I was a bit apprehensive doing the actual fitting but in the end it was fine, just needed to take your time. Excuse the poor photos, but spot the difference. Three for the front and two for the rear (the spoiler I've already given so that doesn't count). I think Grey may be in need of some spacers next.

OK, so has anyone has had to adjust the boot spring tension after installing the rear spoiler? Any links on how to get at these springs? Mine's intermittent and no longer opens everytime.

Absolutely lovely!
That rear end looks very familiar The spoiler and diffuser do look very nice in black though Personally I'm not sure I'm a fan of the black bits on the front bumper though. Maybe its the lighting but they almost look to me like you've lost the definition of parts of the bumper. Kind of like an M3 in Black Sapphire I always felt they seem to lose most of the shape and aggression because there's no contrast between the body colour and grilles etc. Still the world would be very dull if everyone liked exactly the same things Just a set of springs should finish the look off nicely |

Agree with the front bumper bits, need to try again in different lighting. And yes, me thinks the springs and spacers would finish it off nicely. |
