FWIW, there's a thread in the lighting form where you can change out almost every bulb (signals, brake light, and backup light, just not the emergency braking bulb) in the F80 to LED if you like that look. We'll have to see if you can change the backup lights in the LCI tails to be LED or not once someone gets a hold of one to confirm the bulb type. |

I think the real takeaway from this was suggested a few times already: 2015 owners prefer the pre-LCI lights at a higher rate than others. And since my 2016 arrives 3rd week of September that places me in the other camp. Hard to be objective about something so subjective, haha. |

The 16's look like they were the old ones, and the 15's look like they are the new ones.

I still prefer the LED single file rows of signals and brake lights like the F10, F13, and E92 LCI have.
These are beautiful though with the new scooping running lights. But the brake and turn signal aren't that "beautiful" to me and frankly don't look as "new" as the F10 lights and E92 lights. |

Like me! Besides I think the 16s are ugly no matter what the poll says. I voted 15 in my poll BTW

Prior to seeing the LCI's in action, I would have said the '15 lights looked better (sharper more modern design), but realistically, due to being handicapped with halogen bulbs it really is dated when viewed in action. Its not ugly in anyway, just who uses halogens in 2015? Shame on BMW for doing that. But glad I'm getting a '16 hahaha
