Some states (like Illinois) don't allow mixing letters and numbers like that. There must be a space between letters and numbers and you cannot do letters, numbers, letters again. luckily we have dozens of different plates and found a couple that have "RTD M" available. Now I just need the car first

Yeah good notice! I noticed that mistake after I submitted the registration for it. But I've already put in a request for change to add the half space.

I have an OCD problem. It took about a year to fix one of my plates years ago. My 6 letter plates were off center. I noticed others out there too. They claimed it was from the new machine. Looks like they've fixed it. Pay attention out there to 6 letter custom plates and see if it's off center.

Yes you're right! It was a total accident that I got this, I was just inputting onto the dmv system for fun but when it went through it was literally one of those "wtf" moments so didn't even think a second about it and just went with it! Funny cause everything else was taken, ex. M3coupe, m6coupe, m3sedan, etc. This was also one of the biggest motivators that had me waited out the order instead of opting for other cars. Hopefully i could bump into your m3 in SoCal!

If you put one on, it looks much better in the center than lopsided in the tow hook, IMO.

I think it'll look better if the plate was moved down a bit. I have to use the tow hook plate in NYC but I think it looks much better than having a ugly plate holder mounted in the middle.

So i tried to get R8TEDM, and i got a phone call from the DMV saying that the order was cancelled because it was provocative. The guy on the phone told me it says RAPED EM. Really?!?!. Getting a refund in the mail. NY Dmv for you.
