looks nice but the black colour doesnt match the slightly grey touch of the rest interior.
General question. Is it possible to buy mats like style above with original bmw mats colour instead of the many black ones...?

itll turn grey, just walk around in the winter and the salt from your shoes will treat it

M4 Floor Mats

As they say, "best" and "cheap" doesn't go in the same sentence... so what's the cheapest floor mat for the M4 that will fit well and that does the job. Preferably something hard and not soft/carpet. Anything from Amazon or eBay will do. Tell me about your experience with them as well.

Thanks

I absolutely love these all weather ones, great fit and quality. Plus the red trim matches the SO interior.

Decided to go with the iND mats with SO piping. At best I will call them "OK". The piping better matches the look of SO in overcast conditions, while it looks brown-ish/muddy in full daylight. I personally would liked to have a more vivid color. Taken with a Samsung S9+

if your F8X is a DD these are a must-have item imo. Probably true for any DD. my M4 never goes in the rain if I can help it, and certainly never in snow, so I just have carpet mats in there.

I've got a set of the all weather sportlines for sale in the classifieds if any one is interested. They're great mats, just not my speed.

I'm surprised not more people use Weathertechs. I had it on my previous car and it was awesome.

Personally love these the best although Valour can be a pain in the ass to clean if it's got mud on it...

I'd use them in a truck, but not in my M3. Hate the "utility" grade look of them. I'd rather ruin an expensive set of mats every 12 months than have those in my car.

I agree with you. It's just that those carpet mats are tougher to clean if you got mud or sand on it.

I'd rather throw away a set of dirty carpet mats than have WeatherTech in my M3 though.

I'm getting nothing but compliments on my weathertechs. I've had it on my previous BMW. I also have a dog who sheds a lot and I leave him on the floor of the front seats. Makes my life a lot easier with these floor liners.

Also, I do a lot of hiking and snowboarding in the winter. It is super easy to clean and keeps the interior clean.

Yeah - I live in Texas. Hiking is pretty much bone dry here, and snowboarding is a distant memory. Winter here is about 2 weeks long*. I guess they have more appeal in other parts of the country.

*this last winter was the longest most miserable winter I've had here, but not the coldest - even when it's bitterly cold (relatively speaking) it's often nice and sunny here. This year we had a lot of rain and overcast days - quite unusual.

Went with the 3D MAXpider and like them so far - tight fit! Will see how they hold up with daily driver use. I replaced their badge with a generic one I found on eBay.

I used the standard carpet ones for the warm months and weathertech for the winter. I personally can't stand plastic or rubber mats all year long. It cheapens the look of the car I think, but tolerate it in the winter to protect the interior carpet as much as I can.

I must have a lead foot. I have owned my F80 for 2-months and not even daily driving it. I already have heel wear in my OEM carpets.

Yeah I get that also. In my E46 M3 I wore through the carpet where my heal always is. I just accept I have to replace them periodically.

I use these during the winter months. Weathertech is located 5-10 minutes from my house, so it's nice to go in there and see all the products they offer. Plenty to choose from.

But with that said, during spring-fall, I have my OEM mats. During winter its function>style
