Recommendation needed: Tips options for stock exhaust
Looking for recommendations on exhaust tips to change the look in the back w/o getting aftermarket exhaust. I see BMW sells black tips for stock exhaust but it seems just a color change and I m looking for something more aggressive than stock.
Thanks in advance.

There are lots of aftermarket options for styles, sizes and colors. I went for the acs chrime tips, as I feel that black tips get lost with a carbon diffuser. I like the size and quality of the ace tips, but they were pricy compared to other options. Do a search for “tips” and you will find a few threads with lots of options. I could send a pic of my setup if desired.

Originally I had Active Autowerke 102 on my car and loved the look.

i have BMS tips (Burger Motorsports, great customer service) and very pleased with fit and materials. don't fret too much regarding color, you can always powder coat them later. i ordered mine in chrome because i dislike black tips and, since my car is blue, i thought the 'blued' tips would look goofy. next month i'll refit the oem tips and PC the BMS tips matte titanium.
Edit: i'm stock exhaust |
