Are the coils maintenenace items

Coming out of a Stage 2+ N54 - coils were a swap item with the plugs every 30-40k. How about on the S55?

They can be. But most people don't replace them unless they start having a problem. If you're tuned, you might need to swap them more often.

If the car is high mileage and one starts to go, I would just do all 6. They are relatively inexpensive if you get the OE Delphi ones (26 dollarsish each).

Thanks - so the same thing as the n54. Why I just ran a PR coil set - got tired of swapping and having issues.
