Looking for Body Shop in Washington DC Metro

last night some idiot attempted a right turn from the middle lane as I was passing through the intersection and nailed my drivers side. sending me off the road over the curb and some how (thankfully) I was able to thread the needle between a traffic pole and a tree saving further damage. needless to say, I now need an excellent body shop for repairs...can any recommend a good one in the WashDC Metro Area?

I had a hit and run on my car and took it to Rockville BMW Collision Center. The car needed a new bumper and left headlight. They did a very good job on the paint (Mineral White) and the staff kept me up to date as they progressed fixing the car, as far as parts coming in, paint, etc.
They even requested I leave the car with them 1 more day for a full detail. I take really good care of my car but when I picked it up, it looked better than the day I picked it up.

First Choice Body Shop - located on 525 South 31st Street Arlington VA 22202 provided superb service. I've used First Choice for my F82 and E93 and they've not disappointed me.

Thank you all for your responses and help! I ended up taking her to D&V Autobody in Sterling, VA. They work on a lot of exotics and have great reviews in addition to being a recommendation from a fellow BMW enthusiast. I'll let you know how it goes! Safe driving out there!

You're in good hands at D&V - I don't take my cars anywhere else.

Looking for someone to repair my bumper (paint damage)

Should I avoid the dealer? Any suggestions on a good repair shop that can fix the hole / nicks / scratches from getting rear-ended? Ideally in Alexandria or south Arlington?

That's who just did some work on mine after a little dealer incident. They did a great job and their communication is on point!

Dealer bodyshops are usually how can we get this done the fastest, and charge the most...not an ideal scenario to be honest.

I would use D&V Autobody in NoVa....they do some great work.

very few dealers have their own bodyshop, you're better off going to D&V and/or another recommended place

This

I had great experience with this shop as well.

BMW of Alexandria contracted them out for paint defects on my silverstone before they switched over to Caliber collision

I recently touched base with D&V autobody and they quoted me $2K more than BMW of Fairfax to fix damage to the passenger door and fender. I am paying out of pocket too. It seems really high compared to what BMW is charging.

Worth the money imo. They do excellent work.

Ask for Ahmed Yusufi there, he's great to work with.
