I have one in the works that is being installed. It should be put to use within the next few weeks. I think it will help a lot with traction and hold up better than the stock diff for those pushing high HP. It should help some on the track as well. I skipped the Drexler and waited for Wavetrac to release theirs.

Contact Dan at Diffsonline if you're interested. Customer service is top notch and they do a core exchange so your car isn't down while they're building it. Let him know i sent you and he might hook you up.

What are you doing about taking care of any malfunctions by bypassing the e-diff? Super interested in this.

It is plug and play. The only thing extra you have to do is code out the e-diff.

How much did it cost? How's it running now compared to the e-diff?

has anyone had *direct* experience with both Wavetrac and Drexler LSD's and can comment on the driving differences *ON TRACK*?

the price difference is quite significant. and I know the theoretical benefits of Drexler, just curious how it translates to real world experience.

Why did you go this route instead of the ridiculously expensive Drexler 6 clutch diff?

It’s a superb diff! 💪🏼👌🏼. A lot more traction and more predictable than the original diff.

I spoke with a company that manufactures locked differentials, they gave me a very good price (950eur) but the minimum quantity is 10 units.

I reached out to nguyen and he had nothing but positive things to say about it. So I decided to purchase one and get it installed from diffsonline whom I’d highly recommend! They changed the seals, cleaned up the diff and of course wavetrac install which I plan to do in the coming weeks as time allows. It’ll probably be in December after my schooling is finished. I’ve had a few wavetrac before on a fwd as well as the rear. I’ve also had Kaaz and Os given. All great units though the clutch type diffs did clunk which drove me a bit crazy. I’d highly recommend wavetrac if you daily drive and track on occasion. I’ll report back as I progress through the install.
