Fastest 1/4 mile, 1/2 mile BMW in Russia! AWD 1000+ hp vs 911 Turbo S

Summary: they bought an alpina b3 and swapped the awd bits like transmission, diffs, axles, suspension and married it to an F80. Plus bunch of engine mods to make it 1000hp. Even with roll cage car weighs 1630 kgs.

like I said in the first post, 29:30-32:00 is the segment against turbo S

They went with air to air intercooler (2 garret intercoolers mended together) after experimenting with bunch of configurations (water cooled only, water cooled and air cooled, and air cooled only etc) . In the end their current air to air setup can handle up to 1500 hp and only 7C warmer than outside air.

Also initially they started with GTX3076R GEN II (up to 750hp) turbos but found not enough boost during launch. So then they put smaller GARRETT G25-550 (up to 550hp) turbos to achieve better times and optimal power curve.


Also this channel is building older E31 with S55 so it'll be interesting to see what they'll come up with.
