Bootmod3 S55 OTS map update is now up! Version 9.0 and Version 2.0 for S55-OPF

S55 OTS map updates are up!

Version 9.0 and Version 2.0 for OPF cars

So what did we do?¨
  • We improved the torque band in the lower RPM range
  • Sport display calibrated to match our dynoresults
  • Burble intensity increased so it pops a little louder at same aggression
  • Flap control over modes for non ZCP cars (open flaps by changing from comfort to sport or sport plus - this gives a serious downshift sound
  • More boost up top for 2H maps (gapped spark plugs required)

Can 2020 cars be tuned by OBD? I have a 2020 ZCP and thought I saw somewhere that 2020s were "locked down".

Does this have the cooling update where it cools in sport mode like sport plus?

This may be a noob question...

Why is it peaking @ 3579 rpm rather than having it extend out further, say to (+-) 5500 rpm.??

Not sure if serious. Are you serious?

If serious: torque vs horsepower.

Yes!?!

Ok., looking it over once again -

The top graph is:

* "We improved the torque band in the lower rpm range (< 3579)"

The bottom graph is:

* Hp. super imposed (below)

If this is correct, then - "Aah, I see!"

And, the numbers highlighted with arrows on the graph, do not necessarily match the (corresponding colored boxes)
numbers (results) shown on the bottom of the same graph because of the differing peak points, correct?

I don't understand what you mean by flap control on non zcp? I have a non zcp with BM3 and it already controls the flaps just fine.

Felt a big difference with the bump in torque @3,500rpm with v9.0. Nice work.

Is there any way to make sport+ throttle less sensitive, perhaps more like sport or comfort?

Is the increased midrange torque just for stage 2? Or is stage one updated as well. Thanks

What are opf cars?

Thanks.

This is what I'd like know as well. Did CS+ receive this torque band revision as well?

Still not following you. You asked "why does it peak at 3579 and not extend further out past ~5500".

Only one conclusion can be drawn from that question: you are confusing "torque" and "horsepower". The torque peak on these cars is in the 3-4k range and the horsepower peak is in the 5.5-6.5k range.

The top graph is torque only. They've eliminated the big toque dip with this update (blue line) compared to their outgoing tune (yellow line). Simple as that.

The bottom graph has the same blue/yellow torque curves with their corresponding horsepower curves. In addition, the red lines illustrate a stock car's tq/hp curves. Finally, there is a pair green lines which seem out of place - not sure what those represent.

They are just showing a 2nd run done on a slightly cooler more humid day to show the power is consistent.

When you change modes the flaps open at idle. Go back to efficient and they close. ZCP/GTS has this feature. It's applied to OTS as well now.

CS+ is out of beta, this is not applied since the CS+ has same torque band down low as the OEM CS but up top it's more powerful.

- Yes, I was.

Excellent!

I presume this graph was acquired in 5th gear??

Thanks!
