Cool Ferris Bueller's Day Off • The Race Home

Ferris: Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Grace: Oh, he's very popular Ed. The sportos, the motorheads, geeks, sluts, bloods, wastoids, dweebies, dickheads - they all adore him. They think he's a righteous dude.

Ferris: [while running home, Ferris runs past two bikini-clad sunbathers, then returns] Hi, how you doing? I'm Ferris Bueller.

[last lines]
Ferris: You're still here? It's over. Go home. Go.

Thanks John for all the great movies!!!

Anyone recognize the logo?

Clearly downtown area.

(though from other pictures, fairly 'low rise' which makes me think DC....)
That's not a logo of a hotel. That looks like the logo for City Center, the new retail/residential mecca right across the street from my office. I don't recognize the parking garage, but I just jumped into this thread after I saw it on my feed. Any other pics? It's like 10th and H, NW.

Valet cracked my lip and didn't even have the decency to inform me hoping I wouldn't notice and just drive off. If it wasn't for me randomly stopping to grab some food before getting on the HWY (vacationing in Miami) and my wife noticing, I would have been screwed. I vowed never to do Valet again.

There are lots of places with valet services in that area though. Might not be the hotel (not sure where the hotel takes its cars). Could be any one of the restaurants nearby, or the stores.

In fact, it's almost certainly not the hotel -- in the picture with the key ring, you can see the valet stand. I don't know if something has opened in that location yet. Let me pop out and take a picture of the spot. Back in 15.

well at least the location has been found...now its just a matter of finding out the business it belongs to.

I have had my car stolen and joy riden by valet before and cost me $300 for them parking it in a handicapped spot and it pisses me off so much every time is see something like this...I have no problem contacting them and emailing them all the links. fuckers need to pay.

From the other pictures and videos on their twitter feed it is clear they work at the hotel (see, e.g., ) - the uniform of the guy who gets in the M4 screams hotel.

This sucks but it sucks even more for ppl like me who lives in LA where you almost always have to valet park or go on a wild chase to look for street parking. It is good to know we have so many detectives on here that support one another if an idiot records it!

I just watched a few of his other videos and i think it is the hotel. There are a lot of items in the basement that a hotel uses such as linen carts full of sheets/towels and room service carts. I work in the hotel industry and these things are in all of our hotels and the Hyatt would have those types of items.

Edit: just say rollaways beds in it as well. Also there is a Maryland temp tag on the G-wagon he was driving. a few signs in the video but cant read them when i pause.

I looked through all of his videos and it appears that the M4 video is quite old and he no longer works there. In his latest videos he parks cars for *****
Here is a Street View of the underground garage

https://www.google.com/maps/@38.9002...aPdoZoC7kQ!2e0

Here is video of him parking a G63 in there

M3 video is from a different location

I've never used valet for my BMW.

"V6 turbo" STFU! Talk about the worst m4 review ever.

Obviously I'm jumping into the middle of this, so I didn't know the hotel clues. But the hotel is a couple of blocks away from that valet stand.

View post on imgur.com

There's nothing right where the valet stand was, but there are a few restaurants there and a ton of nice shops that recently opened.

Image 3 shows you how far away the Hyatt is (green roof building) from where the valet stand was. It's possible he's not employed directly by the hotel, but the hotel now has an agreement with City Center for parking. If you look at the map in the fifth image, that entire footprint is a parking garage below deck, and even lower for resident-only parking.

you are 100% right about it being the ******. In the G-wagon video you can see that logo on 2 valet signs as he drives them around the block and into the garage. Here is a pic of one of them i got from the video and it matches the one in your google maps image.
