Congrats on a great build. Definitely different, however it is still very tasteful and looks good.

With it's sole purpose to be a unique daily driver for his weekly working commute, our customer ordered this Individual Fashion Grey F80 M3 6MT over Amaro Brown full leather interior last November. Coming from a supercharged Alpine White on Black DCT E92 M3 daily, he was tired of the conventional color combination and lack of driver input that the DCT had to offer. Of course we can't leave anything alone and friends don't let friends drive stock so things escalated rather quickly.

His E92 M3 had BBS LM's and Brembo's so he knew for sure he wanted to go the same route on this car. We wanted a different take on the LM's from their factory machined finish so we had them split and polished the lips. We sent the faces out to IND to be refinished in a black chrome in order to match the IND black chrome front grills and side gills.

For the Brembos, we were on the fence with doing a Fashion Grey finish, but we didn't feel it would do the car complete justice. We decided to tie in the gorgeous Amaro interior with a Porsche twist. The calipers were painted in a classic Carrera brown with Fashion Grey classic lettering.

The headlights were blacked out by ONEighty and we added touches of FG inside with little body color painted accents. Wanting to maintain the EDC for its daily duties, he chose to lower the car on the KW HAS kit. An Eventuri intake in their regular carbon fiber finish fits perfectly under the hood with the factory CF strut bar. For the exhaust he chose Akrapovic downpipes and Akrapovic rear section, leaving the center stock, providing a clean refined sound. An ACM Flash Tune opens up the car's new found power being catless. A Vorsteiner front lip and rear diffuser were his aero pieces of choice. To tie them in we went with PSM carbon side skirt extensions. On top of the trunk is an OEM spoiler with a Fashion Grey CRT stripe. Lastly he opted for a Rogue Engineering Octane short shift kit.

Update: OEM M Peformance armrest and Competition seat belts with custom matching rear seat belts thanks to our buddy Eric K.

Great ideas, colour has to be seen in person, looks champagne to me on the mac. The wheels are very classic and somewhat age the car. 6MT, well that is really your own choice to pump the clutch in traffic. Amazing build. Why not Ohlins?

Do you happen to know if the Competition seat belts work on the M4 convertible - I am guessing not but very interested if they do!

Cheers, C.

This color takes on a lot of different hues depending on lighting. LM's are usually unanimously loved, but unfortunately due to all of the LM reps out there it's gotten kind of washed out and "less special" to some. Anik didn't care and wanted to run them again since he loved them so much on his E92 M3. We don't blame him though, to us LM's are timeless and make everything look better. Ohlins were not available when we built this car as they were just made available recently. He is waiting on the Bilstein damptronics to release.

That's a good question. We haven't tried that yet. Disassembly of the seatbelt mechanism in the convertible seat will tell us whether or not we can retro fit the unit safely.

Absolutely perfection. Fashion Grey is just so understated and elegant. The BBS LM's would look sexy AF with Fashion Grey painted inserts.

LOVE IT!

Yeah I know BBS is quality, I just see them everywhere. For me they're kinda played out. They are great rims though! I've never liked two tone rims. That's just me though.

That car is incredible!! The paint, the 6MT and the wheels are what perfect it. Proud to know that such a connoisseur lives in my state.....now if I can only come across this beauty in person.

This car came out perfectly, Matt. Great work as always ACM. I'm sure the owner is thrilled to pieces.

And the way those calipers match with the interior on the first open rear-door photo........

Beautiful combo. It walks that very thin line of being very sporty while also luxurious. Excellent execution.
