F82 M4: 295/30/20 R PS4S: Best way to lower for DD?
I love my 666M wheels but hate 2 things: the harsh ride quality on MPSS (rears are run-flats from previous owner) and front fender gap. I want to swap my MPSS to MP4S all around (265/30/20 F and 295/30/20 R) while avoiding rubbing. The car is daily driven and I have no plans to track it. EMD springs seems to be the least aggressive in terms of ride quality. Any insight would be appreciated!

I found the EMD’s to ride really well but they were a little too low for my tastes but I believe the m4 might be a little higher than my m3
I had them on for a week before switching over to kw DDC I don’t think you’ll run at all with any lowering spring you choose w those sizes |

The PS4S tires fill the wheel wells quite a bit over the standard PSS. Aside from loving the ride of the PS4S, they look like jeep tires. I would put the tires on first and see where to go from there.

That's why I want to go with either the EMD or Eibach spring since they closely match the stock rates and won't wear out the shocks prematurely M 4 FUN

Off topic but are those shadowline 666M wheels? I've never seen OEM with the bright finish face with black inserts. I always thought the bright finish face always came with grey inserts and the shadowline face came with black inserts.
I think Eibach springs ride OEM-like. I don't have experience with them in the F82 but I did in other cars and they rode better than H&R's in that specific car (997 turbo).

Springs don't wear out shocks in that way. I don't know where people get that from. As said, the edc suspension is the problem. For daily use i would go for a set of KW V3 coilovers. Smooth as silk on comfort setting.

It's 2023 mi amigos.
I don't know why so many $80K+ new M car owners these days resort to matching lowering springs with stock shocks and adding bandaid spacers to factory wheels for that "hella flush" look --> budget-friendly shortcuts that lead to sub-M-standard results. Formula is simple. Get lighter and wider, stronger with right fitment aftermarket wheels. Match with quality adjustable coilovers like KW Variant 3s. Buy the best street tires you can get. Get it rebound/comp/height adjusted and aligned by a skilled technician. Voila. M for magic.
