Unfortunately... Im selling my car! (Parts for sale too!)

Where do I start..

The quick version:
- Was carjacked by 6 guys with machetes.
- Was unfortunately hurt pretty good
- Car recovered in 30mins due to the tracker
- All 4 rims curbed and consequently all replaced by insurance. No other damage!
- I honestly look after my car and am a bit OCD about it.

- Now looking to sell as I can live without the stress and a car is simply not worth my life.

- When I say the car is like brand new...its honestly brand new!
- ALWAYS used V-Power - like i said, im OCD! (have receipts to prove!)
- Driven spiritedly on occasion as these cars are designed to, but ALWAYS made sure to bring up to temp before. My OCD won't let me do it any other way.
- Never tracked.

I know I asking for a little over what they're going for at the moment, but when you see the car you'll understand. No stone chips. Immaculate throughout. Not a crease in the seats even!! Without doubt the cleanest, most looked after F80 in the UK for sale right now. Some lucky person is going to get a perfect daily driver!

The reason I want to sell it via the forums is that I don't believe the dealers will appreciate the effort gone into the car. If I can't sell it here, ill look into selling it via a garage the traditional way.

- M Carbon rear diffuser - has a very small defect so ordered a new one. but haven't fitted it yet, so selling separately - £930
- Macht schnell 15mm spacers all around. May not be one the car at the time of sale as also selling separately - approx £220 inc shipping from the states.

PARTS FOR SALE:
- Original BMW M performance carbon diffuser. Same price as cotswolds - £600 Bought but never fitted! includes original box etc...
- Original BMW M performance carbon splitter. Do NOT HAVE the winglets/canards as not a huge fan of the look. again, Same price as cotswolds - £765 Bought but never fitted! includes original box etc...

Frigging hell dude! That is absolutely appalling. Sorry to hear that, but glad you're OK at the end of the day. Good luck with selling your car, although £42K is a tad optimistic in today's market. Another £2K could get you this for e.g. - 2016 with only 1,100 miles (and high spec).

I know right!

As I mentioned mate, I know its a little bit more, but mine has a few extra goodies: Carbon interior, carbon diffuser, black kidney grills etc..

And when I say its brand identical to brand new! you would never know without looking at the odometer!

Not cool! I do worry about this, I've had friends robbed of their cars on the drive via the means of a machete and a threat to kill.

These scumbags need dealing with, it's not simply car theft it's threats to kill and violence, but as long as they get away with it it will continue.

There is not a big enough deterrent for example, if you steal, your hands should be cut off. Simple.

And the international/stolen parts market is far too lucrative for these guys, making them go to extreme lengths to get a car!

Even things such as ghost aren't failsafe, as they will come back and threaten you to start it. You may say that some of us can look after ourselves, but imagine if your wife, mother, sister are driving the car. What then?!

Glad your ok .......... BUT the price is way over the top, I had the best price for mine (2017 April) M3 CP 7K miles ,forward Valuation of £47K next March, yours is way over .Sorry.

Oh I agree, my friend has had a ghost fitted to his RS6, I said what you going to do when they threaten to kill you if you don't start it?

Just makes the situation worse, we have an underclass in the UK that thinks it's OK to take other peoples stuff and use the tactics of armed robbers on soft targets and it's growing.

They need dealing with but we won't spend the money.
