Finally! 2020 M4 Heritage Edition 6MT
Yesterday I had the pleasure to finally take delivery of my new 2020 Heritage Edition M4. The car is Velvet Blue with the Silverstone/Black Merino full leather.
As far as I (and my sales rep) know, this is the only Velvet Blue 6MT car. And according to BMW Switzerland, this is the first M4 in about 1.5-2 years that was ordered with the manual. They actually checked both with me and my sales rep to see if this was a mistake in the order. Anyway, the car is beyond beautiful and I'm absolutely speechless. No pictures can do this color justice. Depending on lighting, it never looks the same twice. Here are some quick shots from my way to work, I'll post in this thread as I go along and get pictures taken.

Damn that’s a sexy color.
Grats on picking up one of the best looking M car series 😊 The only detail I’m not sure about is the lines on the CF roof, but that might grow on me as it looks subtle yet noticeable 😁 Any modification plans? |

This is sick especially cuz in the US the heritage editions miss the exec pack so they have the base headlights. You got the nice ones

Once automatic transmission got better than manuals over the years, we switched to automatic transmission. US is opposite... You guys started with shitty automatic and now going to manual when Automatic is top of the line...lol |

But, I agree; as you said, automatics have gotten substantially better which is why the take rate of manuals in Europe has dropped significantly on the higher end of the spectrum, i.e. sports cars, premium segment, etc. American car enthusiasts seem to be more hardcore and brands listen to them, hencewhy US-only manual E6x/F1x Ms, all the Vipers, Corvettes and so forth. 83% of all 6MT F80 M3s ever built were sold in the USA! I seem to have snagged one of the few manual LCI F80 in Europe a couple years back. During the last service, dealer techs were all over the car, complimenting the choice of transmission. You just never see a clutch pedal in a new M car or a P-car these days.

Love it! I almost picked up the twin here (There are a few VB 6 Spd Heritage models in the USA), but ultimately went used when the right F80 fell into my lap
