Did they basically use your car as a template?!

They look great! This is exactly what I want. Didn't see one for the M Performance lip though. Do you know if they have plans to offer one?

It says on the website that these Sliplo plates are made of the same stuff on "snowplow blades". If its slick and sturdy, these should do just fine. Anyone want to test these out?

I certainly don't need to pay anyone to stick some strips under my front bumper for me...

Lol installers.....
My $15-20 eBay item works guys. Not sure why there is a need for anything else. It’s thin, smooth and confirms when heated. I have two rows of it under my MP lip and it’s saved it countless of times. Actually hit a dip hard the other day and one of the strips got torn off and the lip was unscathed. Just make sure you clean the surface well and heat up strip before attaching it. Alan |

Here's what I bought and installed on mine.
Literally took only 5 minutes to install. I also just lowered my car with MP HAS and this thing has taken some hits like a champ! https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?m...2F362526572594 |

No, the cheap ebay trim pieces worked like a charm and are holding up. I haven't had need to replace them.

I don't have a lip.
I don't see how you guys who do and have even lowered (coilovers) the car can live with yourselves. My car is not lowered and my C.F. splitters were getting a sever case of ramp/speed bump allergy!! "3M" sells abrasive adhesive strips that are meant to be used for steps and/or ladders. I think it's also sold as "traction tape". What I used was sold in precut oval end pieces about 12"s in length each. Sold in a cardboard sleeve. These work perfectly for me. They're thick and adhere incredibly well. The underside of my C.F. pieces are protected And, these put the hurt on whatever I hit! Cheers!

Did you buy the 1" wide strips and cut them to install in sections, or did you just install a couple full rows along the whole lip? |

^^ I installed mine along the entire lip (2 rows). When you cut them into smaller sections it doesn't hold as good as one big strip. Make sure you wipe down the underside of the lip with alcohol and you have to heat the strip up really good so that 1) its super tacky and 2) its willing to bend to the shape of the lip. Mine as been under my MP lip for over a year and it does its job. The sliplo thing just cracks me up. "certified installer?" its a piece of plastic lol.
