M4Driver, your car looks very classy with what you did. I think that is the issue with the darker tint on most colors is that it makes it a bit less classy. Mine is AW and I went with 20% all the way around and 70% crystalline on the windshield. I do think the car would look a bit more classy if I had gone with 35% all the way around which is what I did on my 911S but I just like the darker tint. I don't like people to be able to see me, my outline is fine, but I don't want them to be able to see that it is me. I don't have any photos but will post some later when I get the car back from the stereo shop.

It allows 78% of light through . It's a very light tint.

I'm looking for something that only allows 25 - 30% through.

This is probably a stupid question, but do they put the winshield tint on the inside or outside. A few pictures that I have seen looked like they were putting it on the outside.

What you're seeing is them measuring from the outside before finally installing it inside.

MN tints laws are garbage, 3rd strictest in the country. I went with 33% all around on my BSM M3. Sometimes I think I should have gone a bit darker which would have been 26%, but the suburb cops around here have nothing better to do than pick out stupid things like that so I didn't wanna risk it. Anyways 33% looks good, and I'm already rolling without a front plate. Here is mine (unfortunately it's before I changed my side gills to black but you get the point)

Looks good (and a little darker than I would have expected)! What brand film is it?

On an overcast day it'll look good like that, but on a really sunny day depending on the angle of the sun it'll look very transparent on one side and if you walk around to the other side it's dark as hell, that's the weird thing about tint. I took it to Ziebart, I think they make their own film

Today @elphilly and I completed our tint jobs at Professional Car Care in Skippack PA. The detailer has been in business 25 years and extremely detailed oriented. He actually pulled out door panels and trim so that he can completely cover entire Glass from edge to Edge. The results were impressive at nearly half the prices of competitors for same product and do not even pull panels. Amazingly there were absolutely zero air pockets anywhere. We choose the top of the line CXP 45% tint made by Suntek which compares with Crystalline in terms of heat & UV rejection. It's actually a perfect blend between allowing some visibility into car without night driving issues with a clean factory look. I think it looks closer to a 35% tint with this brand and glad with choice. We really wanted the look of a factory tint to keep it classy and avoid issues with cops and yearly inspections required in PA. The tint has a sharp black look and looking out the tinted windows has a sharp almost polarized lens look to it. Highly recommend the product and tint shop if ever in the area! Anyway here are some pics of the results:

Suave, that looks amazing and I'd say that's even slightly darker than some 35% tints I've seen - especially considering your pics are in direct sunlight on a white car. Maybe the dark interior is augmenting it.

I'll shoot you a private note about how much he charged for that!

All ceramic. HUD works perfectly fine with tint
No issues with color hazing (wavy lines in bright light) views looking out of windshield? I have not seen a car from inside with windshield done up.. thanks

Nice...compared to the other types of film you install, what is your opinion of Color Stable?
