I personally think 30-35% is the sweet spot. 15-20% looks good but gets difficult to see out of at night. 50% is almost unnoticeable but I know the laws in CA are strict. Whatever shade you get I would highly recommend a ceramic film. I have Llumar Formula One Pinnacle 30 on my M4 and like it a lot. Don't have any pics but can get some soon.

I recently did 3M Crystalline 70 all around and Llumar Air 80 on the windshield. If I had to do it all over, I would go a little darker, probably 50 all around. I'm afraid of doing it too dark since it's my wife's daily driver and I'd hate for her to get pulled over for it.
