Reputable body shop in ATL
Well, after 2 months of ownership, some turkey made an illegal u-turn in front of me and I banged up my baby. Does anyone have a recommendation for a reputable body shop that deals with bimmers?
Thanks! |

Sorry to hear about this. Hopefully no one was injured in the accident. I have not used them personally but have heard nothing but good things about Magnum Collision Repair Center. They do quite a bit of bodywork on exotics.

If it's front bumper damage make sure if they don't put cameras and sensors back in same
Place that they reprogram and relearn them I had camera issues and sensor issues after 8k miles of driving my car after front body repair bmw told me it was sensors and camera were reinstalled in front bumpers in different places but take it with grain salt we all know you get half truths from bmw |

Ouch! I've been there and it sucks! I can only tell you where * not* to go. Had really half-@ssed repairs done at BMW United Gwinnett Collision or whatever it's called about 4 years ago. Have also heard good things about Magnum, would check it out.

I took my 535 to Universal Body shop and would not go there again. The work they did was ok for a vehicle with 85k on the odometer, but wasn’t high quality enough for a newish M4 that I look over pretty closely. I found a handful of imperfections but decided it wasn’t worth my time to have them fixed.
Lookout for yelp reviews - universal was rated very high which is why I tried them but they were no still where near as good as the BMW certified shop I used when I was in Chicagoland. |

I've been meaning to post a review. After 3 weeks I got my car back from magnum... They did a fantastic job.
I'm very very picky about body work and can usually tell from a mile away when a car has been resprayed. But this is some of the best work I've seen. No joke. I'd encourage anyone to take their M there. They aren't cheap and they aren't quick, but they do good work. I dealt with Courtney as my service advisor(?) and she called me every couple of days to give an update. I wouldn't hesitate to take one of my cars back there should I ever have the need. |

Wanted to bump this as I'm in need of have some work done on a bumper.
I'm looking for opinions on shops that are west of GA 400. Magnum was my preferred choice but I've read they're having some problems under new ownership. Suggestions?
