Did an oil change before my first track day. About a total of 80 minutes on track over 4 sessions.
How often would you change oil? After every track day? Regular mileage? 5000 miles? Car is currently used on weekends and track days. About 50/50 |

I ran my first track day with ferodo ds 1:11 track pads. The funny thing that I did not expect was that I had way less brake dust compared to running stock pads. I thought it would be the opposite.

Maybe I'll have some luck here—anyone have a set of Ferodo DS3.12 for rear AP 9449/9451 spares they don't want? I just need something to hold me over until the Endless pads I ordered arrive.

So I got shot down to join a HPDE with my local bmw cca. Its a little frustrating. Apparently the only way to get an invite is to do a bunch of autocross with them. I'm not that interested in autocross and would rather run HPDE. I already have a few under my belt. and would be up to 6 by that event. I understand that some events are intermediate or better only, but the autocross requirement is odd. Is that normal with BMW CCA groups?

Hummmm….Not an issue with the Badger Bimmers, Midwest area. But I also have some HPDE history with the PCA, and there are a ton of people who run at both clubs events.
Have you done any training at something like Radford Racing School? Phoenix Arizona area. There is a great 3 day HPDE like event with some good car control, auto cross, and track. I would think having that on your driving record should help.

I agree, there is no reason they shouldn't take your prior HPDE experiences into account. It's no cost to join the BadgerBimmers Chapter and they are running BlackHawk this Monday, June 6th. And again in August. Plus there is a great annual 3 day event at Road America end of Sept/beginning of Oct. Good mix of cars too.
Lot of Chicagoland members part of the club. Several of us also run in the PCA HPDEs. I'm in an M3 now and still run HPDEs with the PCA. We see a lot of Corvettes, Cameros, and BMWs at the PCA HPDEs.

I installed the Zun Sport mesh lower grills on my M2, they were a great fit. Super happy after some track days keeping track rubber and other debris out of the lower radiators.
I just purchased some for my M4.

We got them on both GTSs after seeing how they fit on SheerDrivingPleasure's car, also very happy with them. Great fit and really easy install

Really looking forward to this one. Going to be fun having the option to go for big(ger) power in the race car!
