FYI - OBDI Connection Failure with eNet to USB C Cable on Android Tablet

As an FYI in hopes of helping our community, wanted to post that despite some people stating that the eNET cable that's used to run from the OBDI port to an Android device, doesn't work, well, it does.

Unfortunately, BimmerLink and BimmerCode don't include two important pieces of information in their apps.

1) If using your tablet (in my case Android Galaxy S9 tablet), you must turn on "ethernet tethering". It appears that you must toggle this on with each occasion of connecting the tablet to your car, via the eNET cable (it reverts to off once you disconnect).

2) You also must have a data connection either via your tablet OR bring your mobile phone and turn on your phone's mobile hotspot so that your tablet can connect to your phone as a WiFi connection.

I observed that if you do not meet BOTH of the above conditions, you are not able to get BimmerCode or BimmerLink to connect to the cars OBDI port.
