Lol, thanks. My wife and I recently moved, so the new house has taken my time and money as of late. I'll have to get back to modding and picture taking soon!

WOW....awesome thread!

I love the attention to detail, but hate that you are now going to force me to start spending money on my car.

FYI, Dinan recently released an iPhone (and Android) app, which will allow one to change maps and also disable the unit. This is great for dyno runs where one is A/B'ing the tune versus stock. It's also great if you want to test the sensitivity of your butt dyno.

It's been too long since I've gotten around to taking a few more pictures. I recently moved, so my time and money have gone to the house. In any case, I found some really cool silo's close to my house and thought I'd get some shots. Happy new year!

I'll keep my pre-LCI taillights, thank you very much.

I quickly realized that driving around with a GoPro without talking would be extra boring, so I decided to adlib about photography and a couple of other things. I'll look to be more organized on future videos with less "ums."

After much frustration over MPSS unavailability, I purchased a set of Bridgestone Potenza RE11s. I went with 265/35/19 up front and 285/35/19 in the back...and man, they're meaty. Offhand, they're much wider than the OEM PSS and the sidewall isn't rounded like MPSS. From what I've read and looking at them today, they're much more akin to running MPSS 275/35 Front and 295/35 Rear. I'm really hoping my traction is improved, but will have to report back once the tires are broken in a bit.

Thanks! It's now buried, but here's a post about that.

Thanks! I'm OEM in the suspension department. That may change if I ever get around to prioritizing a wheel purchase.

Fortunately, the RE11's seem quite good. I'll have to push my car a bit more soon to really comment on differences.

I'll learn from your mistake and order ahead of time. I can't wait to put MPSS on mine because it came with Continentals.
How many miles did your first set last?

Would be interesting to hear the comparison of the RE11s to the MPSS...used to run them on my subaru and were fantastic sticky summer tires. Very stiff...(TWSS)...

I like Larry's products a lot. I use Adam's car soap because I use much more than required during my washes since I can buy one gallon at a time; however, I use AMMO for everything else (Hydrate, Spit, Wheel Soap, etc.). Nobody's ever washed my car but me except an expert detailer on one occasion and I have yet to see any swirls, so I'd consider that a win!

Hey Matt, I just sent the request (Austin A). I also already subscribe to your YouTube channel and Facebook page and enjoy your updates. Your garage is really coming together nicely!

I've been dormant on this forum for the past few months because I ended up trading my M3 for an F-150. My commute went from roughly 10 miles a day to 100 miles with our move late last year, so I wanted something for the long haul. I'm looking to get back into a 911 in a year or two (weekend car) and really just taking the time to figure out what I want this go around. I'm somewhat torn between a 997.1 Turbo 6MT, 997.2 Turbo PDK, and a 997.1 GT3. Decisions, decisions.
