Anyone Who Has Installed the GTS Lip ..

I have the RW Carbon GTS lip on the way. It comes with brackets and is chassis mounted.

Anyone who’s installed a GTS lip with brackets, did you just remove the deflector flaps all together or trim it?

Most of the folks that install these lips just trim them. If you’re installing them at a shop, they should be able to trim them properly.

Yes you’re right. I’ve noticed a lot of threads of people trimming it were installing m performance splitters. I’m curious if anyone did this specifically with the GTS style lip and if there’s more specific instructions to it.

Asking because I don’t even have the deflectors anymore. So I’m not sure if I should order new deflectors then trim ‘em.

I installed lips without them but I heard if you remove them completely, you lose out on some cooling factors. That’s why trimming makes the most sense. However I don’t know how to trim these for the GTS lip unfortunately :/

Looking at some screenshots from Thic Whips’ GTS, I think I’ll end up getting the deflectors and figuring it out

You have to trim the piss out of these when installing a GTS or a CS lip. I think there are some templates floating around somewhere here but they may only be for the M perf lip which differs drastically. You could always buy the splash shields OEM for the GTS or the CS which come pre trimmed.
