Question Anyone regret buying Frozen Blue?

Thoughts on Frozen Blue v. San Marino Blue?

I wouldn't do it. It'd be a nightmare to maintain.

Agree w everyone above. SMB is the “smarter” choice. And personally I think I’d like that glossy SMB more than the frozen blue. But it’s ur vehicle and ur opinion is the most important.

Tell me more about frozen colors being a nightmare to maintain...it seems like a breeze to me. I had my frozen gray ceramic coated and now all i do is wash it. It doesn’t show dirt, marring or light scratches, and obviously there’s no need to wax or polish.

Ceramic coating will help, absolutely. Though i'd be wrapping my car in XPEL if it were Frozen.

I've heard of nightmares situations with having to respray panels due to marks left by bird droppings, etc.

I saw a frozen san marino at the dealer yesterday. Looks like a shitty purple wrap. I would go with paint due to ease of maintenance and if you really want a matte car, get it wrapped.

SMB for sure. The frozen blue is the worst color for the cs IMO.

Ok, this i get. Although i’d still say that unless you get into that kind of scenario, frozen is still super easy to maintain.

Btw to answer the question in OP, i’d go with SMB, mainly for looks purposes than any concerns around maintenance.

I have frozen blue. Amazing color. Any color I get from now on will be frozen. I have Xpel stealth. I have used stealth on regular paint and you get a satin finish but the car still looks wrapped. Stealth on an original frozen color from factory looks just like factory matte paint without the wrap. Plus this frozen blue has been so easy to maintain! Barely shows any streaks or dirt. Almost always looks clean due to the muted matte effect!
